Why We Started
Questilog grew out of a pretty common frustration: reading reviews that felt like they were written around a score decided before anyone had played the game. The kind of coverage where every major release gets enthusiastic adjectives regardless of what the game actually does.
We're based in Seville, which has a growing tech and creative scene but doesn't have much in the way of English-language games coverage produced locally. That felt like a reasonable gap to fill — slowly, without a marketing budget, and without the pressure to produce clicks that comes with advertiser-dependent outlets.
The team is deliberately small. Three people means slower output and more limited platform coverage than a larger site. It also means we know every piece published here and can stand behind it individually.
